Upon completion of the ICS Annual Professional Maritime Programme the candidates have the following examination options:

 

The Professional Qualifying Examinations (PQE)

which consist of seven (7) modules (four (4) compulsory and three (3) optional) and lead to ICS Membership and full qualification.  

The Advance Diploma (AD)

which consists of the Shipping Business, plus minimum one optional module. 

    AD can be elected when the candidates are not able to sit all seven modules in one examination period but wish to take the first step towards ICS Membership.

To sit an exam with the Institute during the 2019/20 academic year, you will need to register as a student, this can be done online after 1st July at www.shipbrokers.org.

Student Annual Registration Fee : £125 for the academic year, July 2019 until May 2020

Back to School Discount (both November & May exams): £80 per subject, until 25th September

Examination Entry Fee : £140 per subject, from 26th September 2019 until 6th of April 2020

Post Examination Review £140 per paper

Deferement Fee£55 per subject

All prices are shown in £ GBP; fees payable to head office will be in £ GBP, local currency payable via an Institute Branch (Greek Branch) and / or Institute Teaching Centre (ITC), where applicable.


 Exemptions

Candidates with relevant professional or educational qualifications may apply for exemptions from a maximum of three (3) exams, by submitting the Exemption Application Form and the relevant documentation via www.shipbrokers.org.

Exemption Fees: The exemption fee is 170 pounds per subject.
